Nino Rurua

Nino Rurua has over seven years of specialized experience in banking and financial law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Throughout her career, she has provided strategic legal counsel to leading corporate entities and successfully managed complex licensing processes and transactional structures.

Nino has a proven track record in managerial roles across the financial and technology sectors. Most notably, she served as Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and Compliance Officer at Paysera Bank Georgia, where she played a pivotal role in the operations of the country’s first digital bank, including the formation of its information security legal framework and IT compliance processes. She also led the legal and corporate governance directions as Head of the Legal Department at PASHA Bank Georgia and acted as Legal Counsel for the technology company, Sweeft. Her solid professional foundation was established during her work at major institutions such as Bank of Georgia and TBC Insurance.

As a Partner at MB Legal, Nino successfully combines in-house management and legal advisory experience. She provides clients with strategic legal support in the processes of corporate structuring, ensuring full compliance with the regulatory framework of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), managing associated risks, and navigating complex contractual relationships.

Nino holds Master of Laws and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Since 2021, she has been a certified member of the Georgian Bar Association. She fluently provides legal consultations to her clients in Georgian, English, and Russian.
